AFFECTIONATE REMEMBERANCE
OF
HARRY GREENHAM
WHO PEACEFULLY PASSED AWAY
JANUARY 7TH 1882
AGED 25 YEARS
GONE TO THE GRAVE IS OUR LOVED ONE, GONE WITH A YOUTHFUL BLOOM
LOWLY WE BEND BROTHER AND FRIEND, PASSING AWAY TO THE TOMB
SWEETLY THE FORM WILL BE SLEEPING, UNDER THE CYPRESS SHADE;
SAD THOUGH WE BE, FONDLY WILL WE CHERISH THE NAME OF THE DEAD.
HE IS GONE DOWN THE VALLEY. THE DEEP DARK VALLEY;
WE SHALL SEE HIS FACE NO MORE, TILL WE PASS DOWN THE VALLEY,
THE DARK DEATH VALLEY AND MEET HIM ON THE OTHER SHORE.
