SPRAKE family

I am a grand-daughter of William Henry Alphonso SPRAKE. I believe he may have had a brother or nephew with the names of Oscar and Lancelot and his father or grandfather were involved with the Sprake brewery. I would be happy to have email contact with this side of the family.

Thank you for reading this.

HENDY / MUSSELL families - Shalfleet

Hello : my name is Robyn Hollands and I will be visiting the Isle of Wight in early September 2011 from Western Australia. My father was born on the Isle of Wight in 1910 and migrated to Australia with his parents when he was three years old. I would like to see where he was born and where my grandparents came from. My father's name was Arther Sydney James HENDY and his father's name was Henry HENDY who was born in 1885 and as far as I can ascertain was from the Shalfleet area. My grandmother was Lucy Elizabeth (nee MUSSELL) who was born in 1884 and I think they were married in 1909.

As I will only be on the Isle for a few days I would greatly appreciate any information you might be able to find out for me and if there are any surviving relatives of the original HENDY or MUSSELL families whom I would be very keen to meet up with.

If you need any further information I will try and find out for you. Thank you and I am very much looking forward to my visit.

Robyn.
